Invisalign Orthodontics
Dr. Cox has been using Invisalign as his trusted orthodontic treatment for over 15 years to correct bite imbalances while also providing the most aesthetic results.
A healthy smile starts with straight teeth and a balanced bite. When teeth are poorly aligned, even if the front teeth appear to be straight, the imbalances in your bite greatly affect the health of your teeth, jaw joint, and facial muscles.
Orthodontic treatment with Invisalign involves you wearing custom-fit clear acrylic mouth trays, named aligners. These aligners are very comfortable, nearly invisible, and easy to speak with while wearing them.
Depending on the severity of your current imbalances and alignment, Invisalign will make you the appropriate number of aligners to move your teeth into their correct positions. Typically, each aligner is worn for 1-2 weeks as you progress through your entire series of aligners in sequence.
To begin your Invisalign treatment, we will take photos, x-rays, and gather all the information Invisalign needs to process your aligners. At the beginning of your Invisalign treatment, and at prescribed times during your sequence, we will also make adjustments to your teeth in our Searcy office and use bonded tooth-colored attachments to insure your progress occurs according to your treatment plan. You can plan to be seen in our office every 4-8 weeks, as required by your prescription.
