Meet Dr Jared Cox

I grew up in Oklahoma, as did my wife Casey. I originally came to Searcy to study at Harding and play baseball while preparing for medical school. However, I decided that the small working environment in dentistry fit me better than hospitals.

After earning a chemistry degree at Harding, I went to Oklahoma University Medical Center for a doctorate degree in dentistry. I currently maintain professional associations with the American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, to which I earned recognition as a Fellow beginning in 2007.

“Dr. Jared Cox is a captivating storyteller who draws on his experience as a pilot, dentist, and self-proclaimed perfectionist. Rooted in faith, his stories entertain and bring light to the world, encouraging authenticity, courage, and compassion for us all.”

Outside of the dental office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 children. I have had the pleasure of coaching little league baseball for many years, and I often think I am as comfortable at the ballpark as I am in my own home. I am an active member in my church, a member of Harding University’s President’s Council, and sponsor for the American Studies Institute. I have served on the Board of Directors for Camp Wyldewood, a local Christian youth camp, since 2003. I love chocolate like no dentist you have ever met, I am fascinated by aviation, and I watch Sooners football as if I am part of the team. I enjoy writing, podcasting, and public speaking.

Welcoming you to our home

We’ll work diligently to ensure we meet your needs, and we’ll make sure you’re greeted with the smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every time you see us.

Made an appointment to go in for an exam, got there and was told they would only be looking at ONE tooth! They would bill my insurance for that exam and X-rays and then have me come back and bill me again for another exam and more X-rays! Knowing good and well I was extremely limited with how little my insurance would pay! Plus not to mention I drove from Heber Springs to Searcy! Who goes to the dentist to have ONE tooth looked at unless maybe you had a severe issue with just ONE tooth. When I asked the dental assistant questions she had no answers. She was rude to me so I got up and walked out! Total waste of time and money! BEWARE they are all about racking up charges! They did not call me or apologize or anything. BEWARE! And to top it off, they have all of these Christian quotes on the wall? They do not care about anyone! Did not act like Christian's to me!

my kids have went here for years and have always loved it. unfortunately we're gonna be switching to a new dentist. they have a new rule that they won't see more than 2 siblings a day so if you have 3 kids, 2 can be seen on one day and the 3rd child will have to be seen another day and it's ridiculous to have to take off 2 days of work. if someone has 5 kids they have to do 3 seperate appointments and so on. They also won't let relatives schedule appointments on the same day anymore either. me and my sister schedule appointments on the same day for our kids because my nephew is Autistic and does better when his cousins are there.

I have had 3 teeth worked on, today I'm going to get another 2 pulled, I've seen adam 3 times, and all 3 times I've no had any issues or problems with him or his staff. Nice friendly people. Would definitely recommend

I absolutely love Dr. Cox and his team! They are all super friendly and professional. They take the time to address and explain any concern I may have for my kids and myself. Even the silly ones without making me feel crazy for asking. Any time we have needed work done, they always given me all the options along with the pros and cons to each. Never have I felt pushed to get something done. My kids have always felt at ease there and I have gone from being so scared and crying to smiling at my appointments. I'm so thankful for them!

Always so welcoming. The wait is a problem and a baby changing station would be nice. The ramp for handicap was blocked by a handicap parking spot. Other than that it is a very nice office…

The ENTIRE staff was very friendly and very aware of my anxiety and fear with dentists. I would recommend them to anybody!
